Our first night in Castelbuono, we were struck by the beauty and serenity of the countryside. Our B&B was located on a hillside, a short 10 minute walk into the picturesque town.

We had settled in for the evening, snug in our comfy bed, when we heard the most harrowing noises from outside our door...it was the Kitty Party ! It seems that the local female was in heat, and invited the male cat population to join her for an evening of revelry...
The next morning, we went outside to see where these troublemakers were hiding...we couldn't believe our eyes when we spotted six cats in the olive tree next to our terrace !

Looking over to the terrace attached to ours, what did we see ?? Another Kitty Party in progress !
They looked quite innocent at that point...but we knew better !!
