Another day, another cathedral....

The duomo, or main cathedral in Cefalu is an imposing structure of Norman architecture dating from 1131 and added on to in the 14th century.   It looks over one side of the main square and seems more like a castle than a church from the outside.


Once inside, the beauty is unsurpassed...

It is a truly massive, impressive cathedral...not the last we'll see on this trip !
