to market, to market...

Saturday is market day in Giardini-Naxos, the harbor town at the bottom of our mountain.  The market consists of fresh fruits, veggies, cheeses, local honey, and all sorts of clothing, kitchen supplies...just about anything you can think of to be used in day to day life here.  It's like going to a shopping center in the middle of the street combined with a farmer's market.  Everyone seems to know one another, and there is lots of hugging and kissing...

then off to a lovely lunch in Taormina, and home again, home again...rig-a-jig-jig....
