Joe and me, Becky and Chuck, Lori and Mike, Jill and Gary...what a good looking group, right ?
The flight arrived on time in Catania, but the luggage did not...Chuck and Becky had theirs, but no one else was so fortunate. As we were told once by an Alitalia rep, "your bags are not lost, you just do not have them"...hmmmmmm....
We made another trip to the airport to retrieve Mike and Lori's luggage Sunday morning (their flight had come in on Friday), but still nothing for Gary and Jill.
No answer at Alitalia Lost Luggage. The hours posted on the paper they gave Gary and Jill are totally different from the hours posted at the airport, which hardly matters if no one is in the office...ever...
Another trip to the airport today - Tuesday - to meet our son, Steven, and his girlfriend Arianna...and we think the remaining bags will be there. But, luckily, they are not lost...we just do not have them !!
