The Lemon Tree...

   We are now at The Lemon Tree, a beautiful villa with several apartments, high above Giardini Naxos, and overlooking Castelmola, Taormina, and the Ionian Sea.  And to the south, visible from the upper levels of the villa, is the imposing snow-capped volcano Mt. Etna.  The Lemon Tree will be our home base until the end of February.  Here are a couple photos...

   There are two very friendly dogs here, the larger one is Molly, who belongs to The Lemon Tree, and the smaller one is Piedro, who is a neighbor's.  The two of them are together all day, and eagerly greet us when we return from an outing.  They want to come inside, but we've been advised not to invite them in.  See how sad Piedro is... ?

And yes, that's the morning sun shining through the large olive tree on our terrace....
