We have our euros...very colorful...and the suitcases are packed. I tried to fit everything in a smaller bag, but a girl has to have what a girl has to have, right ?!
We've made copies of our passports...we learned the hard way two years ago when Joe's went missing, it is a lot easier to deal with the Italian authorities if you have a copy of your identification papers on hand. Although, with the police in their Versace suits and Gucci sunglasses...well, I was content just to stare at them ...
Joe was able to get a great deal from T-Mobile...his phone number stays the same, but the phone plan allows international use now ... for the same price that he had been paying ! What a world...
The laundry is done...clean sheets on the bed for when we return, the plants are enroute to my sister's house for their winter vacation (thanks again, Lori...) , we have received the GPS from AutoEurope ( remember when all we had was a map ??), we have plugs for converting our computers, etc. to European current ... What have I forgotten ? I guess I'll find out when we get to Italy...
We leave tomorrow, so we'll be out of touch for a couple of days...
...hopefully not stranded in Newark !
Ciao !!
